NURCHEM TDEC-75

  • Description

Tellurium,
tetra(diethyldithiocarbamate

C20H40N4S8Te
M.W. : 721
CAS : 20941-65-5
EINECS : 244-121-9

PROPERTIES:
NURCHEM TDEC-75 is a very fast primary or secondary accelerator, used in EPDM, NR, SBR, NBR, CR and IIR. It is particularly active in IIR. When used together with thiurams and thiazoles in IIR, high speed vulcanisation is obtained.
It has an excellent activating function for thiazole accelerators, is relatively safe to process and yields antiageing products of good quality with high tensile strength and high mechanical resistance. NURCHEM TDEC-75 readily disperses in rubbers. It is very
active in SBR, associated with TMTD and MBT.
APPLICATIONS:
Technical rubber, air-bags, tubes, cables, profiles, extrusion products, rubber-coated fabrics, wire insulation, etc.

PACKAGING & STORAGE :
25 kg(net) Carton. 600 kg (net)/ pallet.
Shelf-life : 2 years in its original packaging
Store in a dry and cool place and away from direct sources of heat or sunlight.

Compared to a traditional EVM/EP(D)M binder, NURCHEM TDEC-75 allows :
l. Dust free products with a high level of filtration up to 38 μ.
2. Tack free products at room temperature.
3. Lower Mooney viscosity, improving quality of dispersion.
4. Scrap rate reduction thanks to filtration.
5. Wider compatibility with other elastomers.
