Product Description

N-tert-butyl-2-
Benzothiazolesulfenamide

C11H14N2S2
M.W : 238
CAS : 95-31-8
EINECS : 202-409-1

PROPERTIES:
NURCHEM TBBS-75 is a general purpose primary accelerator combining a fast cure with a delayed action. It is very safe at processing temperatures, but produces high modulus compounds at curing temperatures. It is suitable for NR, IR, SBR, BR, NBR and EPDM. Rubber compounds containing TBBS have less scorch tendency than CBS, and can be more safely processed. Besides, the speed of cure is almost the same as CBS.NURCHEM TBBS-75 imparts excellent cured physical properties including the greatest tensile stress among the sulphenamide-type accelerator.

APPLICATIONS:
Tire treads, industrial goods, carcass, mechanicals and wire jackets, cable and wire insulation.

Compared to a traditional EVM/EP(D)M binder, NURCHEM TBBS-75 allows :
l. Dust free products with a high level of filtration up to 38 μ.
2. Tack free products at room temperature.
3. Lower Mooney viscosity, improving quality of dispersion.
4. Scrap rate reduction thanks to filtration.
5. Wider compatibility with other elastomers.
