HiDispersion rubber additives

Suitable for technical rubber articles based on NR, EPDM, IR, SBR, NBR or IIR. Specially for light-colored articles and transparent articles.

The thermoplastic, excellent compatible EPDM/EVA binder which is combined with active dispersing promoters allows much more easily and quickly incorporation and excellent dispersion in the rubber mixing.

Description:
NURCHEM TMTD-80 is used as an ultra accelerator or as a booster of multi-accelerator blends with thiazoles and sulphenamides, and as a vulcanisation agent (sulphur donor) in most of the sulphur cured elastomers. It gives fast vulcanisations and therefore short processing times (scorchy). It gives an excellent vulcanisation plateau with good heat ageing and compression set resistance for use in sulphurless vulcanisation and in EV systems. Excellent colour is obtained in carbon black-free vulcanisates. In EPDM, NURCHEM TMTD-80 is a valuable secondary accelerator. In the vulcanisation of CR with ETU, it is often used as a retarder. It is suitable for NR, SBR, IR, BR, NBR, IIR and EPDM. NURCHEM TMTD-80 readily disperses in rubbers. It liberates 13.3 % of sulphur at vulcanisation temperatures. It is activated by aldehydeamine and guanidine accelerators. ZnO and stearic acid are required, whereas litharge tends to slow down vulcanisation.

Description:
Used alone, NURCHEM MMBI-70 provides relatively weak antioxidant effect on natural and synthetic rubbers, somewhat improved in vulcanisates accelerated with dithiocarbamates. In combination with other antioxidants it provides remarkable synergistic antioxidant performances. It also has a brightening effect, especially if the goods are transparent. It affords protection from oxygen, heat and no orientated crack formation (cracking). To some extend, it is effective against rubber poisons and fatigue. It is used for NR, IR, BR, SBR, NBR.

Description:
NURCHEM CTP-80 is a highly effective pre-vulcanisation inhibitor of rubbers. It is effective in a wide range of sulphur curable elastomers with most common accelerators: guanidines, sulfenamides, thiurams and dithiocarbamates. It is the most powerful retarder, suitable for both light and dark goods. In vulcanisation, NURCHEM CTP-80 is well soluble in organic solvents and rubbers, insoluble in water. A small addition of CTPI to rubber compounds increases their processing safety significantly, which enables a speed up of some of the technological operations during the preparation of rubber compounds. Recommended quantity is between 0.1- 0.4 phr. It may cause bloom above 0.5 phr.

Description:
NURCHEM NDBC-75 is an effective antiozonant and antioxidant for dynamic applications. It is used where a wax film would offer insufficient protection. It protects against thermal and UV degradation. In SBR NDBC inhibits cracking caused by exposure to ozone and sunlight. In CR NDBC improves heat stability and retards discoloration caused by sunlight. However, it somewhat accelerates ageing of NR and should be avoided in NR formulations It is suitable for CR, CSM, CO, ECO, NBR, EPDM. It is particularly used in cables. It is recommended as an anti-glaze additive for NBR rollers, and in certain NBR, EPDM and CR compounds to improve weathering characteristics. NURCHEM NDBC-75 readily disperses in rubbers. It slightly activates acid accelerators.

Description:
NURCHEM DTDM-80 is a sulphur donor : it can be used for complete or partial sulphur replacement (together with sulfenamides, thiazoles or thiurams). It leads to mono- and di-sulphur crosslinks. The replacement of sulphur with DTDM gives longer scorch times and faster cure rates. These compounds will also exhibit superior green stock storage stability. NURCHEM DTDM-80 is used for NR, IR, BR, SBR, NBR, IIR and EPDM. It can be used alone with NR and SBR. It contributes to improve resistance to reversion and heat ageing, and imparts good cured physical properties, particularly low compression set. NURCHEM DTDM-80 readily disperses in rubbers and is safe to process with. It evolves at normal curing temperatures to produce active sulphur, and has no tendency to scorch and bloom.

Description:
NURCHEM DPTT-75 is the most active thiuram. It is an effective primary or secondary accelerator or sulphur donor for use in IIR, EPDM, NR, IR, SBR, CR, CSM, and particularly for NBR. For CSM, DPTT should be used together with MBTS to furnish higher safety in blending procedure. It also yields white rubber with excellent resistance against weathering. With NR and synthetic rubbers it vulcanises without sulphur at low temperatures and leads to products with good physical properties and superb resistance against ageing. NURCHEM DPTT-75 is effective at low and high temperatures. It is particularly suitable for light-coloured stocks.

Description:
NURCHEM ETU-80 is a primary accelerator or a secondary ultra-accelerator for CR (both sulphur-modified and mercaptan-modified types), an accelerator for epichlorhydrin rubber and a booster in EPDM. It provides rubbers with high tensile stress, low compression set, high plasticity and good heat resistance, and increases the modulus after vulcanisation. In association with antioxidants, it provides good resistance to ageing. NURCHEM ETU-80 shows a good dispersion, little tendency to scorch and a high degree of processing safety. It enables proper vulcanisation to be obtained speedily at normal vulcanising temperatures (above 140° C).

NURCHEM MBT-80 is a medium fast and scorchy accelerator for natural and synthetic rubbers. Vulcanisates accelerated with MBT tend to have low modulus, very good ageing properties and little tendency to discoloration. But care should be taken because it has a slight tendency to scorch. It is suitable for NR, IR, BR, SBR, NBR, IIR and EPDM but is unsuitable for products connected with food stuffs due to its bitter taste. It can also be used as a retarder for sulphur-modified CR. NURCHEM MBT-80 readily disperses in rubbers. It is very active at temperatures above 130-135° C. It can be used alone but low temperature curing can be achieved by the use of TMTD, TETD or DPG as secondary accelerators.
